Respond to access requests for Google Workspace files more efficiently

Google are introducing a new file access experience to make it easier for file approvers to respond to pending access requests across Google Workspace.

Currently, when users request access to a file, the approvers receive an email with the option to share the file or decline the request.

With this update, users can review and respond to requests from within the file. Approvers will see a notification dot on the “Share” button if they have a pending access request and a new banner at the top of the sharing dialog.

Canva is an awesome design tool and you really can design anything! However, if you need some inspiration, there are thousands of templates available to use.

If you’re feeling particularly stumped, you can ask Canva’s AI tools like magic design to design a presentation for you, based on a few simple steps:

  1. Head to canva.com, sign in with your AET email and on the upper right of the homepage, click Create a Design and then select Presentations to open the editor.
  2. On the bottom right corner of the editor, click the Canva Assistant button. Alternatively, you can press / on your keyboard, or press CMD + E (Mac) or CTRL + E (Windows).
  3. Type in Magic Design or you can select Magic Design under Recommended actions.
  4. Enter or describe the presentation you want to create, then press ENTER on your keyboard to start designing.

To see a sample prompt, select Try an example. This will add a good sample description in the text box that you can use as a guide.
